Land Rover has revitalized its seven-seat Discovery lineup for the 2027 model year, introducing a new, feature-packed "Landmark" edition that slots into a streamlined three-trim range alongside the entry-level Discovery S and the flagship Tempest.

The Landmark Edition: New Design and Utility

New for 2026, the Discovery Landmark emphasizes unique aesthetic details and enhanced creature comforts. It debuts "Tasman Blue" metallic paint—a hue reserved exclusively for this trim and inspired by the original Clearwater Blue paint from the Discovery’s 1989 launch.

Visual identifiers include a unique wordmark and mountain logo across the front tread plates, centre console, and puddle lamp projectors. Exterior styling is distinguished by "Graphite Atlas" accents on the grille and fender vents, paired with Carpathian Grey front and rear skid plates. The package sits on new 21-inch alloy wheels in Dark Agate Grey. Inside, the Landmark features dark grey brushed aluminium trim, "Tech Velour" dashboard and door finishes, a sliding panoramic sunroof, and an integrated centre console refrigerator.

The Tempest: Range-Topping Luxury

Retaining its status as the pinnacle of the Discovery family, the Tempest trim is now available in an exclusive "Borasco Grey" exterior finish. To ensure a premium look, all exterior colours on the Tempest are protected as standard by a matte film.

Design accents are finished in "Petra Copper," contrasting against the roof, fenders, badging, and 22-inch wheels. The cabin offers a modern upgrade with new Light Oyster and Caraway seat options, featuring Extended Windsor leather detailing on the shoulders and contrast stitching.

The Discovery S: Family Versatility

The entry-level Discovery S remains the backbone of the range, designed specifically for daily utility and family excursions. It offers durable Ebony or Light Oyster "Duoleather" upholstery and focuses on high-frequency family needs, including wireless phone charging, up to nine USB charging points, and numerous hidden storage compartments.
