The rapid network expansion precedes a significant product offensive, with the mid-size L03 SUV arriving before the end of 2026, followed by the flagship G9L large SUV in early 2027 and the GX electrified SUV later in the year.

Xpeng Motors Australia (Xpeng ANZ) has detailed the expansion of its national retail network and formalised the process for resolving outstanding promotional commitments made by its former third-party distributor, TrueEV.
Operating now as a factory-backed entity following a widely publicized Federal Court battle with TrueEV, Xpeng ANZ confirmed it will end 2026 with 66 retail and service locations across Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, Western Australia, South Australia, and the Northern Territory. An additional seven locations will operate in New Zealand.

Resolution Process for TrueEV Customers
Following its commitment in August to honour promises made to customers by its former distributor, Xpeng ANZ has established a formal review and resolution process. The company reports it has already processed over 1,400 customer enquiries and resolved 250 specific cases relating to TrueEV promotional offers.
Customers who purchased vehicles through TrueEV are instructed to contact Xpeng directly via email (auscustomercare@xiaopeng.com) to claim undocumented or outstanding promotional campaign offers, which include:
- $5,000 cashback campaign offers
- 10-year warranty promotional offers
- Complimentary scheduled maintenance campaigns
Customers must supply their name, vehicle VIN, proof of purchase, and any documentation detailing the specific commitments made to them at the time of sale. Xpeng ANZ will review each case individually to arrange the applicable cashback payment, service booking, or warranty activation.

Standardised Warranty and Parts Infrastructure
Xpeng ANZ has confirmed its standard manufacturer-backed warranty program will apply retrospectively to all eligible vehicles purchased through TrueEV or its authorised dealers.
The factory warranty provides private buyers with seven years and unlimited kilometres of coverage for the vehicle itself, alongside anti-corrosion and anti-rust protection. Commercial operators receive a seven-year/160,000km vehicle warranty. The traction battery, battery management system (BMS), and electric drive motors are covered for eight years or 160,000km.
To support the expanded dealer footprint, Xpeng ANZ has been operating a centralised parts warehouse in Melbourne since June in partnership with FedEx. The facility currently supports next-day delivery to Sydney, Adelaide, and Melbourne. Brisbane receives next-day delivery for urgent orders and two-day delivery for standard freight, while delivery timeframes for other locations remain unconfirmed.

Incoming Models: L03 and G9L
Since entering monthly VFACTS industry sales reports in June, Xpeng has delivered 1,183 vehicles (comprising 1,096 G6 SUVs and 87 X9 people movers), outpacing fellow 2024 market entrants Deepal (924 units) and Leapmotor (1,168 units).
To drive further volume, Xpeng will launch the L03 compact SUV before the end of 2026, priced aggressively from $41,900 before on-road costs. This pricing undercuts the Tesla Model Y, BYD Sealion 7, and even the budget-focused Geely EX5 (from $41,990 plus on-roads) within the critical mid-size SUV segment.
Unlike the pure-electric G6 and X9, the incoming L03 and the flagship G9L will be offered in Australia with a choice of two powertrains: battery electric (EV) and the Kunpeng Super Electric range-extended plug-in hybrid (REEV).
Pricing and finalized specifications for the G9L large SUV will be announced before the end of the year, ahead of its showroom arrival in early 2027.
