The new suite allows buyers to construct genuinely one-of-one vehicles through direct consultation, and is available exclusively to clients ordering Autobiography or SV variants of the Range Rover or Range Rover Sport.

Range Rover has officially launched a dedicated Bespoke Commissioning Suite in Mascot, Sydney, offering ultra-luxury Australian buyers a level of factory-backed customisation traditionally reserved for services like Bentley’s Mulliner or Aston Martin’s Q division.
The customisation scope includes near-limitless bespoke paint finishes, hand-selected leathers, bespoke veneers, contrast stitching, embroidery, precious metal accents, and personalized insignia. The commissioning experience also includes a two-night stay at the Capella Hotel in Sydney, incorporating luxury transfers to the Mascot headquarters for the design consultation.
"The opening of our Bespoke Commissioning Suite in Sydney represents a significant milestone for Range Rover in Australia," stated Penny Ferguson, Managing Director of JLR Australia. "It provides clients with an immersive environment to explore near-limitless personalisation possibilities and create a vehicle that reflects their individual vision."
The Range Rover 'Pioneer 1972'
To demonstrate the capabilities of the Bespoke studio, Range Rover commissioned the 'Pioneer 1972'—a one-of-one build based on the flagship P615 SV.
The vehicle pays homage to the very first Range Rover to arrive in Australia (Chassis 35600022A, a Suffix A model finished in Davos White over Palomino that landed in 1970 for evaluation ahead of the model's 1972 commercial launch).

The modern Pioneer 1972 translates the original car’s aesthetic into a contemporary commission. The original Davos White has been reinterpreted as a custom White Gloss infused with fine metallic flakes, complemented by Gloss Black mirror caps, black side gills, and 23-inch Oblivion Diamond Turned alloy wheels.
The cabin utilizes Caraway and Ebony leather with Natural Black Birch veneer. The silver stitching on the seat backs and scatter cushions mimics the relief of Mount Kosciuszko, while custom alloy kickplates are inscribed with ‘Pioneer 1972 - One of One’.
Powered by the standard SV 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 mild-hybrid (producing 452kW and 750Nm), the Pioneer 1972 carries a final price of $578,000 before on-road costs—representing a $151,000 premium over the standard P615 SV's base list price of $427,000.
