2027 Zeekr 7X Price and Specs: Upgraded Electric SUV Delivers More Power for the Same Price

Zeekr has officially launched the updated 2027 7X electric SUV in Australia, introducing significantly more powerful electric motors, marginal driving range improvements, and expanded standard equipment lists. In a move aimed squarely at undercutting the dominant Tesla Model Y, the Chinese automaker has elected not to increase pricing, with the three-tier lineup maintaining its starting price of $57,900 before on-road costs.

Order books for the 2027 iteration open today (November 1, 2026), with initial customer deliveries scheduled to commence in December 2026.  

Powertrain and Battery Architecture

The primary focus of the 2027 update rests underneath the vehicle, where every model grade benefits from upgraded electric motors. Both the entry-level RWD and mid-tier Long Range RWD variants see outputs increase by 25kW and 80Nm, resulting in a new peak of 335kW and 520Nm. This cuts their 0–100km/h sprint times down to 5.6 seconds and 5.5 seconds, respectively.

The flagship Performance AWD steps up to a dual-motor arrangement that now generates 500kW and 790Nm (up from 475kW/710Nm), dispatching the 100km/h sprint in just 3.7 seconds.

Despite the power increase, the WLTP driving ranges have seen slight improvements across the board. While Chinese domestic models have migrated to a new 900-volt architecture, Australian-delivered 7X SUVs will continue to utilize an 800-volt electrical system. DC fast charging peaks at 450kW for the standard 75kWh battery and 420kW for the 100kWh packs, while maximum AC charging sits at 22kW across the range.

Feature Upgrades and Trim Specifications

Exterior styling revisions are subtle, limited to reshaped front air intakes, a narrower active grille shutter, a revised rear diffuser, and a relocated rear licence plate (moved from the bumper to the tailgate). Rear privacy glass is now standard across the entire lineup, and the exterior colour palette has been revised: a two-tone Tech Grey with a black roof replaces the discontinued Brook Blue.

Inside, the centre console has been reconfigured with repositioned cupholders and a flat storage cover, replacing the previous sliding curved unit. A key technology addition is a built-in digital video recorder (dashcam) that operates when the car is active or parked.
