Priced at $42,490 drive-away, the 2026 Jimny Heritage commands a $1,500 premium over the standard Jimny GLX automatic upon which it is based. Order books are officially open now across Suzuki Australia dealerships nationwide.

Suzuki Australia has announced the return of the retro-styled Jimny Heritage edition for its three-door off-roader, this time fitted exclusively with an automatic transmission for the first time.
Limited strictly to 300 individually numbered units (numbered 301 to 600), this release marks the final three-door Jimny Heritage batch to be offered locally. It follows the initial 300-unit manual run in 2023—which sold out in five hours—and a five-door manual Heritage edition rolled out in 2024.
The model arrives during an exceptional sales run for the pint-sized 4x4. The Jimny stands firmly as Suzuki Australia’s best-selling vehicle, recording 4,971 deliveries between January and August 2026—more than double the Swift light hatchback (2,015 units) and more than quadruple the Fronx compact SUV (1,032 units) over the same period.

Powertrain, Off-Road Capability, and Drivetrain Hardware
Under the bonnet, the Jimny Heritage retains Suzuki's standard 1.5-litre naturally aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine, producing 75kW of power and 130Nm of torque. Power is sent through a four-speed torque-converter automatic transmission and Suzuki's ALLGRIP PRO part-time four-wheel-drive system with selectable dual-range low-gear gearing.
True to its ladder-frame construction, the Heritage preserves full off-tarmac capability with rigid front and rear live axles, 3-link coil suspension, and 210mm of running ground clearance. Because it utilizes the automatic transmission, the Heritage also includes adaptive cruise control as standard equipment.
