Unlike MG’s previous focus on small cars and SUVs, the MGU9 represents the brand’s move into the “big vehicle” space — a segment dominated by workhorse utilities that must balance durability, comfort and versatility. MG says the MGU9 has been engineered to handle everything from daily worksite duties to long-distance touring and off-road adventures, without compromising on interior comfort or technology.

Three variants are offered at launch, allowing buyers to choose between value-focused practicality and premium-grade features.

Every MGU9 variant is powered by the same 2.5-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine, delivering strong pulling power for towing and off-road driving.
