To clear outgoing stock ahead of their arrival, Audi has also introduced a limited-time drive-away campaign for the MY26 Q6 e-tron Sport Edition, priced at $95,900 drive-away for both SUV and Sportback body styles.

Audi Australia has rolled out an aggressive pricing restructure for its mid-size electric SUV lineup, cutting nearly $10,000 from the entry-level 2027 Audi Q6 e-tron and slashing more than $21,400 from the flagship SQ6 e-tron.

Production of the revised 2027 model year (MY27) range begins in October 2026, with first Australian showroom deliveries scheduled for the first half of 2027.

The price cuts represent a sharp competitive correction. By dropping the entry-level Q6 e-tron SUV and Sportback to $89,900 before on-road costs (a reduction of $9,918), Audi precisely matches the starting price of its key rival, the new-generation BMW iX3 ($89,900), while substantially undercutting the upcoming Mercedes-Benz GLC electric ($110,000 before on-roads).

The $89,900 list price also positions the vehicle just beneath the Australian Federal Government’s current $91,661 Luxury Car Tax (LCT) threshold for fuel-efficient vehicles, maximizing access to state EV incentives (though dealer delivery charges may bring total transactional costs close to the boundary).

Powertrains and 800-Volt PPE Charging Architecture

Mechanically, the 2027 powertrains carry over unchanged, riding on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) co-developed with Porsche:

Enhanced Equipment: Standard Sunroof, Metallic Paint, and 3-Screen Cabin

Audi claims the combination of factory price cuts and expanded standard equipment yields up to $22,800 in customer savings.

Previously costly optional extras are now rolled into the base specification:

  • Panoramic Glass Sunroof: Now fitted standard across all grades (previously a $3,600 standalone option).
  • Metallic Paintwork: Included standard on all orders (previously up to a $2,000 option).

  • Larger Wheels: Base models step up from 19-inch wheels to 20-inch Audi Sport alloys.
  • The Digital Stage: Standard interior layout features three integrated displays: an 11.9-inch OLED Virtual Cockpit, a 14.5-inch MMI central touchscreen, and a 10.9-inch front passenger touchscreen with active privacy masking to prevent driver distraction.

  • Safety & Tech: Standard front integrated dashcam, hands-free gesture power tailgate, 360-degree surround cameras, front cross-traffic assist, and adaptive cruise control with active lane centering.

The flagship SQ6 e-tron builds further by adding an adaptive air suspension system, digital OLED tail-lights with customizable signatures, red brake calipers, 21-inch Audi Sport wheels, an augmented reality head-up display, and a 705W, 16-speaker Bang & Olufsen 3D sound system. For MY27, the SQ6 also receives the Black Exterior Styling Package as standard, applying gloss-black finishes to the grille, mirror caps, and bumper diffusers.
