The campaign spans the majority of Honda's petrol and hybrid passenger car and SUV lineup, encompassing the CR-V, HR-V, ZR-V, Accord, Civic, and the recently reintroduced Prelude sports car.

Honda Australia has introduced a nationwide 'Plate Clearance' campaign for the end of 2026, offering buyers of eligible 2026-built models five free scheduled services and an eGift card valued up to $3,000. The promotion applies to retail contracts signed between November 1, 2026, and January 31, 2027.

However, several models are excluded from the promotion. The high-performance Civic Type R is omitted due to ongoing supply constraints and intense demand; the latest allocation of 98 vehicles—expected to arrive in Australia next month—completely sold out after order books opened in July. The offer also excludes Model Year 2027 (MY27) versions of the Civic and Prelude, demonstrator vehicles, and the new Super-One electric city car.

Servicing and Warranty Upgrades

Customers purchasing an eligible vehicle will receive their first five scheduled services free of charge at an authorised Honda service centre. This program covers the vehicle for the first five years or 50,000km of ownership, whichever occurs first.

This inclusion equates to a tangible $1,395 saving for the buyer, following Honda Australia’s recent servicing price increase from $199 to $279 per annual workshop visit. (The excluded Super-One electric car is the only model to escape this price hike, retaining the older $199 capped-price service rate for its 12-month or 15,000km intervals).

The five-year free servicing period mirrors the standard Honda Road Ahead Guarantee, which includes a five-year, unlimited-kilometre new-vehicle warranty and five years of premium roadside assistance. Buyers who continue to service their vehicles exclusively through the authorised Honda network can extend both the warranty and roadside assistance coverage to an industry-leading eight years.

Market and Sales Context

This aggressive end-of-year push follows a highly successful sales period for Honda in Australia. While its primary Japanese competitors have experienced significant downturns—with Toyota sales declining 15.9 per cent and Mazda dropping 16.2 per cent—Honda Australia achieved a 1.5 per cent sales increase through the first nine months of 2026.

This localized growth has been driven heavily by the CR-V, which accounted for 38 per cent of the brand's total sales volume between January and September 2026. The smaller ZR-V SUV has been the brand's biggest mover, posting a 10.6 per cent sales increase over the same period last year.

Eligible Models and eGift Card Values

All eligible petrol-powered models, as well as the hybrid-only Prelude, qualify for a baseline $1,000 eGift card. Selected hybrid (e:HEV) variants receive enhanced gift cards ranging from $1,500 up to a maximum of $3,000.

The digital gift cards—issued by EML Payment Solutions Limited—are not redeemable for cash and cannot be used in conjunction with any Honda Financial Services finance offers. They will be distributed to customers within 30 days of taking vehicle delivery.
