2027 MINI Countryman Untamed Edition Detailed for Australia

MINI Australia will expand its compact SUV lineup with the 2027 MINI Countryman Untamed Edition, scheduled for local release in early 2027. The outdoors-inspired special edition will be available with a choice of two all-wheel-drive powertrains: the petrol-powered S ALL4 and the all-electric SE ALL4.

While marketed globally with enhanced off-road hardware, the Australian-delivered Untamed Edition will omit several mechanical upgrades. Local examples will not receive the 15mm suspension lift or the specially developed Pirelli Scorpion all-terrain tyres offered in North American and European markets. Additionally, Australian towing capacities are capped at 1,500kg for the petrol S ALL4 and 1,200kg for the electric SE ALL4, whereas international petrol variants offer up to a 2,000kg limit. The Autohome roof-top tent accessory will also be excluded from the Australian catalog.
