DENZA B5 Super Hybrid priced from $74,990 ahead of Australian debut

Positioned as a five-seat adventure-focused SUV, the B5 blends luxury, electrification and genuine off-road capability. It is built on BYD’s advanced DM-O (Dual Mode Off-Road) super-hybrid platform, allowing drivers to operate the vehicle primarily as an electric vehicle around town, while retaining long-distance touring capability for weekends away.

Orders for the DENZA B5 are now open, with the brand also launching its first Australian showroom and a national dealership roadshow.

Pricing

Australian pricing has been confirmed before on-road costs, with two variants available at launch.

As a launch offer, the first 2,000 B5 customers will receive a complimentary premium exterior paint finish and interior trim enhancement.

• 6 years/150,000km vehicle warranty
• 8 years/160,000km high-voltage battery warranty for the Blade Battery system
• Roadside assistance, renewable through authorised DENZA servicing
