XD MY24 Exceed Wagon 5dr CVT 1sp 2WD 2.4i After three major updates during a decade on sale, Mitsubishi's ASX remains among the five top-selling small SUVs. A trimmed-down version of the last-gen Outlander, the ASX proves handier in tight spots yet still offers a versatile, decent-size interior. Engine choices are both petrol-fuelled: a 110kW/197Nm 2.0-litre or a 123kW/222Nm 2.4-litre. Transmission choices for the front-drive only ASX include a five-speed manual (on the base ES only) or a CVT. Safety technology on all variants includes autonomous emergency braking, while from ES ADAS upwards, blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert and lane-departure warning are standard.
